Appeal Re-Launched For Missing Waterford Teen

Gardai in Waterford are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15 year old Rebecca Reinl from Crystal Court, Kilcolohan, Waterford.

Rebecca was last seen at Crystal Court, Kilcolohan, Waterford on 30th August this year.

She is described as being 5'6'' tall and of slim build with long blonde hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disapperance.

Gardaí have been led to believe she may be in the company of a man, Patrick Harty, aged 21, and from the Callan area in Co Kilkenny.

Patrick Harty is described as being 5' 11" and of thin build. He has short black hair, and a pale complexion.

Gardaí are very anxious to establish the whereabouts of Rebecca as concerns for her wellbeing mount.

One Girl Still Missing
Gardaí who were appealing for help in finding two teenage girls who have separately gone missing over the past fortnight have revealed that one of the teens has now been located. Niamh O'Malley - who was missing since 5.00pm on Wednesday 10 September, after she had left school for the day - is now safe.

Appeal Issued For 16-Year-Old Rebecca Wall
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Rebecca Wall. The teenager was last seen in Waterford city on the evening of Thursday, 26 April. She is described as being approximately 5' 4'' in height, with green eyes and shoulder length plum coloured hair.

Former Irish Times Editor Dies
Journalist Ella Shanahan, has passed away in her County Waterford home. Ms Shanahan, 60, was the former London Editor of The Irish Times. She will also be remembered for her work in the RTÉ newsroom in the 1970s.

Settlement Agreed For Waterford Crystal Staff
An agreement has been reached in relation to the long-running Waterford Crystal pension case. Under the deal, the former workers of the factory will receive "significant pensions" and a tax-free lump sum. The measures are compensation for the "delay and stress involved in bringing Irish and European Court cases to resolve the matter".
