Three Arrests Made Following Drug Finds In Dublin
Gardaí have arrested three people following two separate drug finds in Dublin and Monaghan.
Officers from the Crumlin Detective Unit arrested a man and a woman following a planned search of a house in Foxrock, Dublin on Tuesday night.
Quantities of what are believed to be cocaine and cannabis herb and assorted paraphernalia were seized in the course of the search in the Foxrock Green area of Foxrock. Both the man and woman are in their mid 20's and are being detained at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations respectively.
In a follow up search at a house in the Auburn Avenue area of Castleknock, in Dublin, Gardai recovered 1.2 kg of what is believed to be cocaine with an estimated street value of €100,000.
Another man was also arrested following a Gardai seizure of 700 Cannabis Plants on Tuesday morning after a search of a house in Readuff, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. The search was carried out by detectives from Cavan and Monaghan Divisional Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit assisted by local gardai from Shantonagh.
The search turned up a cache of cannabis plants with an estimated value of €240,000.
One male in his early 20's was arrested and is currently detained at Castleblaney Garda Station. He is due to appear in Monaghan District Court at 10.30am on Wednesday morning, charged in connection with the incident.

Major Search Operation Ongoing For Missing Jet-Skier
A major search operation is ongoing on Lough Ree in the Midlands after a woman went missing while jet-sking. The operation was launched on Sunday evening after a woman failed to return to shore at the lake, which borders Westmeath and Longford. Irish Coast Guard Helicopter, RNLI crews, civil defence and sub-aqua clubs are involved in the operation.

According to reports six arrests have been made during searches at a number of premises in Drumcondra, Artane, Finglas and Swords.
