Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Death Of Man
Gardai investigating the death of Donal Manley, whose body was discovered in his house at High Street in Cork city, are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
In a statement issued by Gardaí today, officers are asking people who may regularly travel in the High Street area of Cork city to try to recall last Friday. Gardaí would like anyone who was in the High Street/Southern Road/Douglas Road area of the city on the afternoon of Friday the 10th of October to contact them.
More specifically they are asking anyone who was in the area, between 5.00pm and 6.00pm, and who saw a man in a red jacket carring a flat screen TV to contact Gardai. The man is described as 6' and of strong build, he may have been carrying a black umbrella.
Gardai believe that this man hailed a taxi in the area and was taken into the city centre. Gardai are appealing for any taxi drivers who were operating in the High Street/Southern/ Douglas Road areas last Friday to contact them.
Gardai believe that this man may be able to assist them with their investigation, and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 021 4522 000.

Man Seriously Attacked In Co Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously attacked in County Limerick on Monday. The incident occurred in Newcastle West at around 2.15am. The man suffered a serious head injury and is currently being treated in hospital. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Body Found In Bathroom Had Been Dead For Few Days
The body of a Dutch man has been found in the bathroom of his home, police believe he had been dead for a few days before making the discovery. The body of the man was discovered with a kitchen knife in his chest. Gardai received a 999 call and immediately went to the Linnbhla complex, also known as the Santry Cross apartments.

An elderly man has been killed in a car crash in north Tipperary. The accident happened on the road between New Line and Mary Willies, on the main Roscrea to Templemore road at around 7pm on Thursday night. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
