Four Dead Within 24 Hours On Irish Roads
Two drivers have been killed on roads in the Irish Republic in the past 24 hours as well as two others in the North.
Gardai at Maynooth, Co Kildare are investigating the most recent incident when a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision occurred at Laraghbyran, Maynooth last night 19th October 10.00pm.
The collision involved two cars. A 33 year old male driver and only occupant of one car was killed, the driver only occupant of the other car was seriously injured and was taken to the Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old male driver of a car was killed when he lost control at Manch West, Dunmanway, Co. Cork.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and the main Dunmanway to Bandon Road remains closed while Gardaí carry out forensic crash scene examinations.
Gardaí have also named the 36-year-old male who was fatally injured on Saturday when the jeep he was driving collided with a post at the front of a house as Kevin Rocke, 36, from Ballynacargy.
There was no other vehicle involved and he was the lone occupant of the jeep. He was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital at Mullingar where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the PSNI in Co Antrim are appealing for anyone with information about a fatal accident incident on the Ballydonaghy Road in Crumlin on Sunday morning to contact them.
Police are also appealing for information following a fatal crash on the Newry bypass on Friday night.
A 21-year-old male motorcyclist died in the collision on the northbound lane of the carriageway near the Chancellor's Road junction. The incident was reported to police at 10pm.
It was the 14th motorcycling fatality in Northern Ireland so far this year.

Gardai Investigate Fatal Crash On N24
Two cars were involved in a head on collision on Monday night around 22:40 on the N24 near Bansha, Co. Tipperary. The drivers of both cars, a female in her 20s and a male also in his 20s, were both fatally injured in the accident. The passengers in the females car, two males in their late teens, were taken by ambulance to Clonmel Hospital.

Three Die Overnight On North's Road
Three people have been killed in an overnight road crash in Co Down - while another person has also died in Co Clare. There are few details as yet about the accident, other than it is understood two cars were involved in the collision on the Killinchy Road, near Comber and that the crash happened shortly after midnight.

Second Road Tragedy As Crash Driver Dies
Tuam police are investigating a second fatal road traffic collision within hours. It occurred at approximately 8am this morning on the N17 between Ballindine and Milltown. The 45-year-old male driver of a car was killed when his vehicle was in collision with a tanker. The deceased has been removed to University College Hospital Galway.
