Fly To New York For €10

The boos of budget Airline Ryanair has announced the airline will be launching transatlantic flights for just €10.

Michael O'Leary. the firm's Chief Executive, is expected to today outline his plans to purchase cheap aeroplanes from struggling companies, and using the savings to offer the discounted flights.

According to reports, Mr O'Leary has said he plans to keep economy class very cheap at around the €10 mark, while making the business class very expensive, saying: "There's always 10-15% who'll pay whatever it costs for a wide seat."

The flights could be available as soon as early next year, and available to early booking customers.

Flights are expected to go from Dublin and Stanstead airports to New York, Florida, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston.

Mr O'Leary's plan includes purchasing over 50 cheap planes to beat the recessional climate, and recent figures published yesterday showed lower profits by the airline, Ryanair's traffic has grown by 18% in October alone, with almost 56.8 million passengers for the year.
