Woman Killed In Westmeath Collision
A woman has been killed and several children injured, following a collision in Weastmeath.
Gardai are investigating the single vehicle crash, which occurred at Cummerstown, on the road between Collinstown and Oldcastle, Co. Westmeath at 8.15am on Tuesday morning.
The victim was the female driver in her early 30s. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also in the vehicle at the time of the crash were four children aged between 15 years and 6 months old.
The children were removed to Mullingar General Hospital where it is thought that none are in a serious condition.
Garda forensics collision investigators are currently examining the scene of the collision.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.

The man in his 20's was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
