Man Shot Dead At Dublin House
A man has been found shot dead at a house in Dublin.
The 27-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to his neck at a house in Ashcroft Grove, Blakestown, around 8.30pm on Tuesday.
According to reports, a 17-month-old baby was in the house at the time of the shooting.
The area was sealed off for a forensic examination before the Deputy State Pathologist conducted a preliminary examination and the body was removed from the scene.
Gardaí have launched an investigation and said that the discovery was made in a front downstairs living room of the Blakestown property, which is in north-west Dublin.
Detectives are looking at the possibility that the shooting was gangland-related.
They said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and have confirmed the body remains in the house.
They said that anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station.

Gardaí were called to the scene where they found a man in his 20s who had been shot a number of times in the front garden of the house at Woodavens just before midnight. According to Gardaí, medical attention was given to the man at the scene but he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Gun Recovered In Dublin Murder Case
A gun has been discovered by Gardaí as part of the investigation into the murder of a 29-year-old man in Dublin. The man was shot dead by a gunman who entered a house in Castlelyon Drive in the Newcastle area of the city shortly before 10.30pm on Thursday night. The man was shot in front of his partner in the upstairs bedroom of the house.

Two men and a woman have died in three separate house fires in Limerick and Kerry. In the latest incident, a man in his 60s died following a house fire in Tralee in Co Kerry.
