Five Teens Questioned After Fatal Dublin Shooting

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting in the East Wall area of Dublin have this afternoon questioned a total of five people in connection with the attack.

Aidan Kane, 50, and a father of one, was shot and killed last night following a pursuit of a group of teenagers who had been throwing eggs at his home.

At around 8.00am this morning, a 13-year-old boy was detained in connection with the shooting, and four other teenagers were arrested this afternoon.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. The area has been sealed off and gardaí are at the scene. Further updates to follow.

Man Released Following Dublin Shooting
A man has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with the shooting of a boy in Dublin on Friday. The six-year-old was shot in the neck in Ballyfermot. A man was detained on suspicion of withholding information. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Man Seriously Injured In Co Louth Shooting
A man has been seriously injured in a shooting incident in Termonfeckin, Co Louth, gardaí have reported. According to gardaí the a man in his 40s was reversing his car out of a driveway when a gunman approached the car and fire five shots, three of which hit the victim in the chest, arm and leg.

Two Held Over Attempted Shooting Attack Released
Two men arrested in connection with an attempted shooting attack in Dublin have been released without charge. The incident occurred at a car park next to the Islandbridge Court Apartments on 1 November. A Honda Civic rammed another car at the scene. Two occupants in the car then ran after the driver of the other vehicle and fired a number of shots.
