Hunt Goes On For Missing Youth
Family, friends and the local authorities are continuing their search for the missing teenager Conal Owens today.
The hunt is now into its fifth day after no trace was found of him around Curracloe beach in Co Wexford at the weekend.
Mr Owens was last seen on the beach in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Some 1,000 people were involved in the huge search operation over the weekend, including the Coast Guard, Civil Defence, Garda Specialist Units, and Order of Malta.
The 18-year-old, from Kilteel close to Naas, was separated from friends near the popular coast.
Gardaí have now renewed their appeal for anyone with information to come forward and said they do not suspect foul play at this stage.
He is described as 170cm (5ft 7in), with brown hair cut short and is of stocky build.
A gardaí spokesman said: "When last seen Conal was wearing blue jeans and a distinctive red hooded sweatshirt with the words "C - UNIT" printed in white across the chest."
Anyone with information should contact Wexford Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line or any garda station.

Man Missing From Co Wexford
Gardaí have appealed for information into the whereabouts of a man who is missing in Co Wexford. John Kearns, 52, was last seen at his home in Coolatore, Ferns, at around 8.30pm on Sunday (1 March). He is described as being 5'8" in height, of medium build, with short grey hair which is receding at the front.

Gardaí in Co Wexford have appealed for help in tracing 36-year-old Mark O'Toole. Mr O'Toole was last seen at around lunch time on Friday, 18 September in Gorey Town Centre. He is described as being 5'8'' tall, stocky build with sandy coloured hair and blue/green eyes. When last seen he was wearing a Wexford jacket purple and gold.
