Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses Over Teen Crash
Gardaí in Kells have launched an appeal for witnesses to the single vehicle road crash, which left a teenager dead in Co Meath on Monday.
Dean Walshe Fennor, 17, from Oldcastle Co Meath died after the car he was driving was believed to have gone out of control, colliding with a wall.
The collision occured on Monday at approximately 11.30pm in Loughcrew town at Oldcastle, Co. Meath on the stretch of road just off the R154. The road is single carriageway throughout and many parts of the route are known locally for their dangerous bends.
The teenager died as a result of his injuries in Navan General Hospital yesterday.
Gardaí are asking anybody who may have been in the area at the time to contact Kells Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111.

Gardaí in Co Meath have reported the death of a 25-year-old man in a road accident in the early hours of Monday morning. The man died in hospital following a single-vehicle collision at about 12:30am at Dunheeda, on the main Kingscourt to Drumconrath road.

Driver Killed In Co Meath Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Meath, gardaí have reported. According to gardaí the 21-year-old was the driver of a car that hit a ditch on the Dunshaughlin to Dunboyne road at around 12.30am. It is understood that three other men and two women were also in the car and are being treated for injuries.

It is understood that the man was driving a van that collided with a lorry at Johnsbrook on the N52 from Kells to Mullingar, at about 10:30 this morning. Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Man Injured in Co Meath Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in County Meath. The attack happened at a house in Dowth, at approximately 9.45pm on Sunday. The victim was shot a number of times in the upper body and his leg. He is currently being treated at Our Lady of Lordes Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
