Finglas Shootings Continue
Following a spate of shootings in the Finglas area, last night saw another gun attack at a house in north Dublin suburb.
A volley of shots hit a car at around 8.30pm, which was parked in the driveway of the house at Barry Drive.
Gardaí believe the culprits left the scene on foot, and no arrests have yet been made.
According to reports, a woman in her late thirties who was in the house at the time escaped unhurt.
The attack is believed to be linked to two other shootings in the area in the past few days.
A 51-year-old man was left seriously injured when he was shot several times in a house in Casement Park on Monday evening.
His 24-year-old son was also wounded in a shooting inside the Cappagh House pub on Barry Road early on Sunday morning.
The attacks have been linked to an ongoing feud in the area, and Gardaí believe the same gang shot both the father and son.
