Teen Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting

An 18-year-old man hs been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin last night.

The gardaí communications centre received a call at 12.45am that claimed shots had been fired through the front window and door of a house on St Attracta Road, Cabra, Dublin 7.

The two had been sitting in a silver coloured Audi A5, and when they were approached by gardaí, they rammed the garda car.

The Audi was blocked and gardaí saw a gun in it.

An 18 year old male was arrested and was taken to Mountjoy Garda Station.

After further investigations another 18 year old male was arrested on suspicion of involvement in this incident. He was taken to The Bridewell Garda station.

There was an adult male and female couple in the house at the time of the shooting but no persons were injured. Both the car and the house are being preserved for technical examination.

Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Man Arrested Over Fatal House Fire Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a fatal house fire in Dublin has been released without charge. A 44-year-old man died in the blaze which happened at a property on Oakland's Terrace, Rathgar, at around 3am on Tuesday, 21 August. It is understood the man had escaped from the fire before returning inside and suffered critical injuries.

Garda Granted More Time To Question Limerick MC Murder Suspects
Gardaí investigating the murder of a man outside a motorcycle club in Limerick, have been granted more time to question three men. A special sitting of Limerick District Court granted garda more time to question a 27-year-old man and two me aged in their 40s, arrested on Saturday in connection with the murder.
