Woman Missing From Galway Home
A 49-year-old woman has gone missing from her home in Galway.
Gardaí at Gort are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the woman, named Bernadette Leech.
She has been missing from her home in Kinvara, Galway since Thursday morning, last week.
She is described as being 5' 5'' in height, light build with curly brown hair.
When last seen Bernadette was wearing a purple overcoat, black skirt and a multi-coloured scarf.
She is believed to be using a silver coloured Suzuki Vitara Jeep registration number 05 G 9312.
Anyone with information on Bernadette's whereabouts are asked to contact Gardaí at Gort on 091 636400
In other news, the body found at a rural location near Ballinspittle, Co Cork has been confirmed as that of 60-year-old Anne Corcoran.
A post mortem was carried out on the remains at Cork University Hospital late last night by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Eight Unused Garda Stations Go Under The Hammer
Eight former garda stations are going under the hammer at a public auction in Dublin. It is understood that there has been strong interest in the building, some of which were only vacated recently, with others sitting unused for decades. The stations are located in counties Galway, Cork, Longford, Leitrim, Tipperary and Wexford.

Pregnant Galway Woman To Be Sentenced For Stabbing
A pregnant Galway woman will be sentenced on Wednesday for the manslaughter of her neighbour. Una Black, 26, of Walter Macken Flats, Mervue, Galway, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the manslaughter of 42 year-old John Malone at the flats on December 3, 2006.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.
