Teen Killed On Kilkenny Road Named
Gardai have named the 16-year-old male killed in a road crash in Co Kilkenny, yesterday.
The boy was named Patrick Mc Donagh, from Johnswell Road, Kilkenny. Gardai have launched an investigation into the single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at Cuffsgrange, Kilkenny at approximately 5.35am yesterday morning.
The 16-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene when the car in which he was a rear seat passenger collided with a tree.
The driver and a front seat passenger were brought to Kilkenny Hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 - 7775000.

Road Toll Tops Five
There have now been five road deaths over the past weekend. There were two fatalities this morning alone, with the latest crash now being probed by Gardaí in Co Kilkenny. They said today they are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred at 7.15am this morning on the Waterford side of Ballyhale.

Man Dies In Kilkenny Road Collision
A man has died in a road collision in Co Kilkenny. The crash happened at around 1am on the westbound carriage of the N24 Piltown bypass. The man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will be carried out.

Yellow Weather Warning Issued For Heavy Rain
A yellow weather warning for rain has been put in place across many counties in Ireland. The warning came into effect at 11pm on Sunday night, 13 October, and is in place until 11.59pm on Monday, 14 October. The warning is for Munster, Connacht, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Offaly and Westmeath.

51 Arrests Made In Major Gardaí Operation Across Kilkenny
A total of 51 people have been arrested across Kilkenny during a series of raids carried out as part of Operation Thor-Project Storm. Gardaí have carried out a total of 19 planned searches over the last three days.
