Young Man Killed In Sligo Crash
An 18-year-old has been killed following a two vehicle crash in Co Sligo this morning.
The man who has been named Jonathan Bruen, from Ballaghaderreen, Co.Roscommon, died today following a road traffic collision at about 7.30am, near Ballymote Co. Sligo
He died at Sligo General Hospital as a result of his injuries. He was the driver of the motorcar involved, which collided with a second car.
A Garda investigation is under way into the cause of the crash. No other injuries have been reported.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

Two Arrested Over Murder Of Martin Kivlehan
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Martin Kivlehan. 59-year-old Mr Kivlehan was found with stab wounds at his apartment in Sligo on 03 August. Both men were both arrested in Sligo town and are currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Post Mortem For Sligo Assault Victim
A post mortem examination will be carried out today on the body of a 60-year-old man who died in hospital after being assaulted in Sligo town. Cyril Moran was assaulted at his home at River Road in the Cartron Point area of Sligo Town on Thursday morning.
