Man Killed In Another Finglas Shooting

A second man in only three days has been shot in the North Dublin area of Finglas.

Gardai in the area have launched an investigation into the second shooting incident this week, which occurred outside a house at Kippure Park, Finglas at approximately 11.20pm last night.

During the incident a 41-year-old man received gunshot injuries.

He was removed to Connolly Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The scene is being preserved for forensic examination.

On Monday evening, a man in his 20's received arm injuries after a shooting incident on Berryfield Drive in Finglas.

Following the incident he was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A detailed description of the culprit is not available, but witnesses state that he was wearing a balaclava.

Shooting Victim's Father Injured In Finglas Gun Attack
The father of the man shot on Sunday in a Finglas pub has fallen victim to another gun attack in the area, only two days after the previous incident. The man in his early 50s is recovering in hospital after he was shot in north Dublin last night. Both incidents are believed to be connected, and related to a local feud in the area.

According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. Shooting Incident At Shopping Centre In Finglas
An appeal for information has been made by Gardaí following a shooting incident at a shopping centre in Finglas on Saturday, 09 April. The incident occurred in the car park of the Charlestown Shopping centre, near the fast food outlets, at around 6.15pm. No-one was injured in the shooting.

Man Arrested In Connection With Finglas Shooting
Gardai investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the incident. The shooting took place in the Cardiffsbridge Road in Finglas on the morning of November 15. Police made the arrest in the Ballymun area of the city.

Two Held Over Attempted Shooting Attack Released
Two men arrested in connection with an attempted shooting attack in Dublin have been released without charge. The incident occurred at a car park next to the Islandbridge Court Apartments on 1 November. A Honda Civic rammed another car at the scene. Two occupants in the car then ran after the driver of the other vehicle and fired a number of shots.
