Teenager Held Over O'Halloran Murder
A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Steve O'Halloran in Tallaght last month.
Gardaí made the arrest of the 18-year-old suspect last night. He is the second person being questioned over the murder of Mr O'Halloran, 20, who was shot in the head as he sat in the driver's seat of the car outside his mother and stepfather's home on the night of Monday, January 19th.
The first arrested man was detained during searches at three houses in the Tallaght area by gardaí yesterday afternoon, assisted by gardaí from the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
That man is still detained under the Offences Against the State Act and both men are being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
Mr O'Halloran died at the scene of the shooting while two other men were also wounded, as the trio sat in a car in the driveway of a house in Kilmartin Drive, Tallaght.
Two men, both believed to have been armed with 9mm handguns, walked up to the car and fired a volley of rounds into it.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Dublin man Stephen O'Halloran in January. Gardai investigating the incident arrested two men in the Tallaght area on Tuesday. The two men are aged 25 years and 19 years and have both been detained at Tallaght Garda Station.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

Man Held In Connection With 'Tiger Robbery'
