Teenager Fatally Stabbed In Limerick

A 17-year-old has been stabbed to death in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí at Mayorstone Park are investigating the incident that occurred outside a house on Creaval Park, Moyross, Co. Limerick.

Officers found the 17-year-old lying at the front of the house with a stab wound to his stomach. The man was taken to the Mid Western Hospital Limerick where he died a short time later.

At present it is unknown how many people were involved in this incident.

The scene is preserved and the services of the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist have been requested.

No arrests have been made to date.

Off-Duty Garda Injured In Stabbing Incident In Co Limerick
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in Co Limerick on Sunday night. An off-duty garda officer was stabbed in the hand in an incident at Bruach na Sionna, Castleconnell, shortly after 9pm. He was taken to University Hospital Limerick with what was described as minor injuries.

Six Teens Arrested Over Limerick Man's Murder
Gardaí have arrested six teenagers in connection with the death of Limerick man Patrick Coleman in September. Mr Coleman, a 33-year-old father-of-two, died after being attacked on his way home from a night out on September 3. His body was found in his home in John Carew Park. He had been stabbed.
