Pair Arrested Over David Lynch Murder
Gardaí investigating the murder of 26-year-old David Lynch this morning arrested a man and a woman in relation to the investigation.
The pair, both aged in their mid 20s were reportedly picked up in a Dublin city centre hotel by armed detectives from the Garda's Emergency Response Unit.
They are being held at Coolock and Swords Garda stations under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
David Lynch's remains were discovered by a dog walker near a block of flats between Newtown Court apartments and Belcamp Lane in the Coolock area of north Dublin on Monday afternoon.
His killing was the ninth gun murder linked to gangsters this year with both north and south Dublin worst affected by increasingly bitter turf wars and long-running feuds.
