Appeal For Witnesses After Fatal Car Accident
A man has been killed and three children injured in a car collision in Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision, which occurred on the M50 southbound beneath junction 9, the Red Cow Roundabout, on Saturday at approximately 12.45pm.
According to Gardaí, a man in his early 40s who was the driver of the vehicle was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead yesterday as a result of his injuries.
Three children aged between three and seven years were also injured in the collision and taken to Crumlin Children's Hospital and Tallaght Hospital for their injuries.
A Gardaí spokesman said: "Anyone who may have seen a black Fiat Punto car travelling southbound on the M50 at approximately 12.45pm on Saturday 25th April 2009, are asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-6667600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111."

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a car crash in Co Monaghan. The two-vehicle collision happened at 6:30pm on the N54 Monaghan to Clones Road in Aghalisk yesterday, 05 January. The 68-year-old victim was fatally injured in the crash and declared dead at the scene.

John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.
