Viable Bomb Found In Dublin
Specialist officers have been called in over what is being described as a viable suspect device, found on Baldonnel Road last night.
Gardai from Tallaght and Ballyfermot are investigating the discovery of the device on the between the junctions of Commons Road Lower and Barney’s Lane. The area was cordoned off and 1 house within the cordon was evacuated.
A Gardaí spokesman said the services of the army Explosive Ordinance Disposal team were requested and the device was removed to Cathal Brugha Barracks where upon further examination it was established to be a viable device.
The Baldonnel Road was closed for approximately two hours during the removal.
The investigation is ongoing, and Gardaí have asked anyone with information to contact Gardaí at Clondalkin on 01 6667600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Explosive Device Made Safe In Dublin
An explosive device was made safe by the Army early on Tuesday morning in Dublin. A bomb disposal team arrived at Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, at 2.35am to deal with the object outside a private home. Local people were evacuated, and the scene was declared safe at 3.20am.

Bomb Found Under Car In Dublin
An explosive device has been found under a car in Dublin yesterday. Officers at Sundrive Road and Crumlin Garda Stations were dispatched to Raleigh Square, Crumlin, in Dublin after a being alerted to a potential bomb. On arrival at the scene a device was discovered under a car parked outside a house in the area.

Viable IED Discovered In Co Longford
A viable improvised explosive device has been found near a private residence in Longford. Gardaí called in a Defence Forces' Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team after they discovered the suspect device in Lisfarrell, Co Longford in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The improvised explosive was found close to the Hollystown roundabout, on the Cappagh Road in Finglas, at approximately 11.45pm on Tuesday night. The area was sealed off for a period of time and the device has been taken for further examination.
