Man Shot By Masked Men
A man is critical in hospital after being shot by masked men in Co Wicklow.
Gardaí at Bray are investigating the shooting, which occurred in the early hours of this morning in Richmond Hill, Bray.
The incident occurred shortly after 1am when shots were fired through the second floor window of an apartment complex from an external stairway. Gardaí say there were two male culprits involved.
One man wore a blue baseball cap, had his face covered, and wore a black jacket, light grey tracksuit bottoms, white runners and was of average build.
The other man wore a black top, possibly a hoody, black tracksuit bottoms, black shoes and was also of average build and height.
Gardaí believe the firearm used was a shotgun.
A 32-year-old man was found seriously injured inside the apartment. He was removed by ambulance to Loughlinstown Hospital and at present is in Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as being critical.
The scene is preserved at present and the services of the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
No arrests have been made to date.

Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Dundalk on Thursday, 10 December. A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.

Cocaine And Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Cocaine and cannabis herb worth an estimated €34,000 has been seized in Moone, Co Kildare. As part of a planned search of a premises at Lower Belan, garda uncovered €14,000 worth of cocaine and €20,000 worth of cannabis, shortly before midnight on Sunday, 12 June.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

He is believed to have been shot in the People's Park in Bray at around 5.30pm. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
