Thieves Steal ATM Machine Out Of Wall

A gang of thieves have stolen an ATM machine they ripped out of a wall in County Kildare.

The thieves made off with an unknown sum of cash after taking the cash machine from the Mother Hubbard's restaurant in Moyvalley, Co Kildare at about 2am.

A significant amount of damage was caused when they removed the machine from the premises, using a digger that was located at the back of the restaurant.

Gardaí are investigating the theft and are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them at Leixlip Garda station on 01 6667800 or the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111.

North's ATM Gang Strikes Again
Yet another automated teller machine (ATM) has been ripped from a in the North by thieves using a digger. Both Ulster Unionist MLA Danny Kinahan and the Alliance South Antrim MLA David Ford have condemned the theft, after a cash machine in Templepatrick was removed in the early hours of Friday morning.

Cork Thieves Steal Empty ATM Machine
Bungling thieves have stolen an empty ATM machine in Cork city last night, according to Gardaí. Officers are investigating the theft which occurred in the city overnight. The raiders used a digger to steal the machine from a Texaco service station on the Model Farm Road at around 2.30am this morning.

Shop Workers Assist In Largest Bank Card Scam
In one of the largest bankcard scams ever in Ireland, over 300 people are a total of €1 million worse off. It is understood shop and restaurant workers assisted thieves in cloning bank cards after being offered huge sums of money. The cloning took place at points of sale in shops and restaurants around Dublin in the last few weeks.

Appeal For Information After Attempted ATM Robbery
Gardaí in Rathfarnham have appealed for information over the attempted robbery of an ATM machine at a Knocklyon shopping centre. Garda say that an attempt to free the cash machine from a wall was made at about 4am and they have had reports of a loud bang.

Man Arrested After Bungled ATM Robbery
A 23-year-old man has been arrested failing in his attempt to rob an ATM in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 3.30am this morning when three men, armed with a sledge hammer, broke into a shop on East Road in Dublin 1. They attempted to remove the cash machine, but failed.
