Man's Body Discovered In Finglas
A man's body have been found in the Finglas area of Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery in the early hours of Friday morning.
A passing taxi driver spotted the body of the man who is believed to be in his 20s at 5.15am and raised the alarm.
The body, which is believed to have stab wounds, remains at the scene at the junction of the corner of Cardiffsbridge Road and Tolka Valley Road.
Gardaí are treating the death as suspicious and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
The scene is in the vicinity of the back road from Finglas to Blanchardstown, by an area of open ground, near Tolka Valley Park and is protected by uniformed gardaí pending forensic examination.
The area of Cardiffsbridge Road and Tolka Valley Road has been closed off.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01-6667500.

Brother Thomas McCarry, with an address at Clareville, Finglas Road, Glasnevin faces charges relating to two separate boys at the CBS primary school in Mullingar 1984 and 1985.

Second Body Discovered In Dublin
The body of another man has been found in Dublin buried in a shallow grave. Gardaí said the discovery was made shortly before noon on Friday in a field in Ballough, Balbriggan. The body of a man in his 30s remains at the scene and the area has been sealed off pending a forsenic examination.

Weekend Shooting Probed
Gardaí believe that a weekend shooting is linked to a drugs feud between criminals based in Finglas. They said today that a Dublin man is now recovering in hospital after he was shot twice in the gun attack. The 41-year-old victim had just been collected from a house at Cardiffsbridge Road when he was attacked just before midday on Saturday.

Finglas Death - Men Released Without Charge
Two men arrested over the death of a 29-year-old man in Finglas have been released without charge. The men were detained by Gardaí investigating the discovery of a body at Spring Mount Apartments, Wellmount Road in Finglas. The men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested on the evening of 11 January in Finglas.
