Body Found Across Border In Newry
A man's body has been discovered in the border city of Newry, Co Down.
PSNI detectives are investigating the shock find in a laneway early this morning.
The victim was discovered at Upper Edward Street shortly before 1am on Tuesday.
Initial inquiries suggest that there were suspicious circumstances in the death, but the details surrounding the incident were this afternoon still being established.
No details about the identity of the man have so far been released but it is expected that a post mortem will be carried out later to establish the exact cause of death.
However, it is thought the man was badly beaten.
Police are trying to establish his identity and have also appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

A man's body has been discovered in Dublin. The body of the man, believed to be in his 30s, has not yet been formally identified, according to garda. The discovery was made between O'Connell Bridge and College Green at about 7.20am on Sunday. A post-mortem is expected to be carried out. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
