Motorcyclist Killed In Carlow Crash
A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car in Co Carlow.
Gardaí in the Borris area are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision, which occurred at approximately 6.00pm on Sunday evening on the Kiltealy to Ballymurphy road.
The male motorcyclist, 41, was traveling in the direction of Ballymurphy from Kiltealy when the collision occurred involving his motorcycle and a car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and three others involved in the collision were taken by ambulance to St Luke's hospital in Kilkenny where their condition is described as not serious.
The road was closed for a forensic collision examination and reopened at midnight.
In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man has died in a road accident in Co Armagh.
He was the driver of a 4x4 vehicle, which collided with a truck near Middletown on the main cross border road to Monaghan.
The Gardai in Borris, County Carlow are appealing for witnesses to the motorcycle incident to contact them on 059-9773102 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.

Motorcyclist Killed In Motorway Collision In Co Kildare
A female motorcyclist has been killed after crashing into the central divide of a motorway in Co Kildare. The incident happened at around 8:30pm on the M9 between junction 1 and junction 2 southbound on Saturday, 09 July. The victim, who was in her 40's, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other person was injured in the collision.

The 45-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and Gardaí later confirmed he had died.
