Two Killed In Kerry Crash
Two people have died in a tragic road collision in County Kerry during the early hours of this morning.
The two involved are belied to be males, aged 19 and 20, who died at the scene when their car collided with a wall and ignited at Lawlors Cross, Co Kerry.
Gardaí in nearby Killarney are investigating the collision, which occurred on the N22, Killarney to Tralee Road at approximately 12.20am this morning.
Forensic Collision Investigators have been notified and the scene is closed, pending a technical examination.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardaí in Killarney on 064-6671160, the Garda Confidential line 1-800-666-111, or any Garda Station.
In other road news, stage one of the Tour de Munster got underway at 9am today. Some 80 cyclists will be travelling across the six counties of Munster over the next four days.
Today's routes go through counties Cork, Waterford, Tipperary and finishes in Clare and motorists are advised to be extra vigilant and to expect delays.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Motorcyclist Killed In Co Kerry Collision
Gardaí in Killarney, Co Kerry, have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision outside Sneem on Tuesday evening. A male motorcyclist was fatally injured when he collided with a ditch on the Cahirciveen to Sneem Road at about 18:45 yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

The man was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene after his vehicle collided with a lorry.
