Cross-Border Search For Armagh Man

Concerns for the safety of an Armagh man are growing on both sides of the border today, after he went missing from his home.

Police Sevice of Northern Ireland officers in Newry, in conjunction with the Gardaí, are asking for the publics assistance in their efforts to locate missing man Frank McKnight and are becoming increasingly concerned for his well being.

Frank, from the Belleeks area of south Armagh was last seen in the Green Road area of Bessbrook around 10.30am on Wednesday September 9.

Mr McKnight is described as 45-years-old, 6ft 4ins tall, well built, with short brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing jeans and a T-shirt.

The PSNI and Gardai believe Mr McKnight may have travelled to the South and are asking him to contact them or his family to let them know he is safe and well.

A spokesman for Gardaí has asked anyone who knows of the missing man's whereabouts to contact PSNI at Newry CID on 0845 600 8000, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

In related news, Gardaí in Midleton are seeking the publics' assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Milan Kisik, aged 47.

Mr Kisik was last seen on the 21 August at Ard Na Greine, Midleton, Co Cork. At approximately 12.20am he left this address driving a Grey Opal Ventra estate registration number 06D16233.

When last seen he was wearing a black adidas jacket and black pants. He is approximately 170cms in height and 85 kilos in weight.

Mr Kisiks' vehicle was located at Ballycotton Cliff Car Park, Ballycotton, Co Cork on Thursday. A search of the area was carried out involving the coast guard, which proved negative.

Meanwhile, another person has turned up safe and well.

Niall Cummins, 19, who was believed to be missing from the campsite at Electric Picnic, Stradbally, Co Laois since last Monday has been located safe, last night.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Gardaí Appeal For Missing Man Greg Ward
Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Call For Assistance To Families On Missing
Ireland's law reform body has called for the plan to see the families of missing people to receive financial help with paying their bills. The Law Reform Commission (LRC) on Monday published its Consultation Paper on Civil Law Aspects of Missing Persons making 18 detailed provisional recommendations for reform of the law.

Missing Tramore Teenager Found Safe
A 16-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Tramore, Co Waterford, has been found safe and well, Gardaí have said. Margueritta 'Maggie' Goulden was reported missing on 8 January. It is understood the teenager was found in the Dublin area. Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance in the case.

Man's Body Discovered In Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man's body was discovered in Limerick. The body was found at the back of a house in the Brierfield area, Castletroy, on Friday afternoon. The man is believed to be in his 30s. A Polish man living in Limerick was reported missing on Thursday, however it has not been established if it is his body.
