Luas Crash Still Causing Delays
Traffic in Dublin continues be chaotic following an accident between a Luas tram and a bus on Wednesday.
There is disruption to the Luas red line, with the service only running between Tallagh and Smithfield.
Yesterday's crash happened in the northbound side of O'Connell Street which was closed overnight.
More than 20 people were taken to hospital following the crash. One is said to be in a critical condition, two others were seriously injured.
Irish police, Veolia Transport and Dublin Bus are investigating what caused the collision.
Garda meanwhile appealing for witnesses to the collision and have asked to speak to anyone who was in the area of O'Connell Street Lower and Abbey Street junction between 2.50 pm and 3.15 pm.
Gardaí have asked a number of passengers travelling on bus and the Luas that may have left the scene before emergency services arrived to contact them.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Store Street Garda station on 01 666 800.

Tram Driver Trial Begins
The trial of a Luas driver, charged with crashing his tram into a bus on O’Connell Street, has started today. 39-year-old Oriyomi Emmanuel of Jamestown Park, Ratoath, Co Meath, has pleaded not guilty under the Railway Safety Act to the unsafe operation of a tram at the junction of Middle Abbey Street and O’Connell Street on September 16th, 2009.

SIPTU Luas Drivers Vote To Accept Labour Court Recommendation
Luas driver members of SIPTU have voted to accept a Labour Court recommendation to resolve their dispute with Transdev. The voted was passed by 108 to 56 in a ballot that was counted on Friday, 03 June.

Body Found On Greystones Luas Line
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body on the Luas line between Bray and Greystones yesterday, 20 April. It is understood that the body was found shortly after 7am between Greystones train station and the first tunnel at Bray Head.

FF Call For Special Task Force To Resolve Luas Dispute
Fianna Fáil has restated its call for a special task force to help resolve the ongoing Luas dispute in the interests of the travelling public. The parties spokesperson on Transport, Timmy Dooley, made the comments after writing to Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe to outline the need for such a task force to be implemented.
