Dublin Balcony Fall Man Dies
A woman was seriously injured after what gardaí have described as a 'domestic incident' in Dublin early this morning in which a man died.
The Lithuanian man, 33, was taken to the Mater hospital with serious injuries after gardaí were called to The Hamptons at Santry Cross, Dublin 9.
He died a short time later and it is understood he fell from the fifth storey of the apartment complex onto a parked car below.
The vehicle remained parked outside the flat complex this afternoon with a shattered front windscreen.
His 30-year-old wife, who is also Lithuanian, is being treated at the Mater for injuries sustained prior to the man's fall.
A police source said it is believed to be a domestic incident and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

20,000 Smuggled Cigarettes Uncovered By X-Ray
A car arriving into Rosslare Europort was discovered to be carrying some 20,000 smuggled cigarettes. Revenue Customers Service investigated the car after spotting a suspicious object on an x-ray image of the Renault car, which had arrived from France.
